THE COURSE THAT CHANGED MY CARRER AND LIFE

today I am writing a blog regarding something that has changed my life and career FOREVER, and might be changing yours too!

As most off you might already know, my dream since I was a child was to become an artist, a surface pattern designer able to design fabrics, wallpapers, stationery and all products you see in the shops.
Growing up in my mum’s interior designer shop, I have always been surrounded by fabrics and wallpapers samples and I knew that, one day, I wanted people to decorate their homes with fabrics and wallpapers with MY OWN ART on them.
In the years I self thought myself the work, designing stationery, prints, homeware and fabrics. I opened a 5 start successful Etsy shop and my own online shop and I have retailers selling my products all over the country. An extraordinary success, which makes me very proud of following my dreams.
But by the end of 2024 I was exhausted from producing-packing-shipping and so on all alone and in need to find a smoother running business plan.
Fast forward to the beginning of 2025, my urge to develop a more sustainable form of business was screaming at me and this is when I found the turning point of my life and career:
I discovered Bonnie Christine’s IMMERSION COURSE
When I started checking this course out, I have been pulled back by two major factors: the high investment needed to start it and the fact that the course is heavy on Adobe Illustrator, teaching you everything, and I mean everything, about this programme. But for me, being mainly a watercolour artist, Photoshop is the programme that I thought suited better. After discussing with my hubby (my forever best supporter), we decided that there is no better way to spend, or better invest, your money than in your own personal education and growth and that learning a new programme, even if you would not use it that often, could not hurt but only being an add on to your curriculum.
And so I enrolled in Immersion 2025 and it changed my life!

Not even a year after concluding the course, my work is licensed from several brands around the world and my life style improved to the point that I have now more time for my family, I do not need to spend late nights packing orders and I spend more time doing what I like most: creating meaningful art, being with the people I love, have location, time and economic freedom. 2 months after concluding the course I had already got the money I invested in it back, thank's to a licensing deal that, look at that, required the use of Adobe Illustrator 😊.
Today I am using both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create my patterns, logos, product development, and I couldn't be more thankful for that decision that my hubby and I took one year ago!
I honestly could not even imagine that all this would have been possible on that day!
